ubio quickVET Ochratoxin A Rapid Test is a lateral flow assay designed so that even a technician with limited expertise can perform the test easily. The veterinarian or the technician weighs out a 2.0g ground portion of the sample into the centrifugal tube provided along with the test. 4ml of PBS is added into the centrifugal tube, the lid is closed, and then it is shaken for about 5 min. 3 drops of the extraction is collected and added to the sample hole. Results can be read in just 10 minutes - The presence of only one clear band, that in zone 'C', indicates a positive result.
