ubio and Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum, enter MoU for cancer diagnostics research

ubio Biotechnology Systems Pvt. Ltd. has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum for developing innovative solutions in cancer diagnostics.

Regional Cancer Center is one of the leading cancer care institutions in India, and it has an excellent hospital and an established in-house research facility. The two institutions will leverage RCC's research expertise and ubio's product development experience to create diagnostic products that will make cancer detection faster and less expensive. The research collaboration will also make high-end cancer diagnosis techniques accessible to most secondary-care hospitals in developing countries.

Early cancer detection techniques are not available at most hospitals in India, and the disease is usually diagnosed at late stages after clinical symptoms appear. Improved cancer detection alone can lead to significant improvements in cancer cure rates in the country, which makes new efforts in this area valuable.
